    Caitlin Cook

I'm passionate about what I do, and I love working with others. I like to learn on the go, meet deadlines, and go above and beyond.

I wear many hats: designer, musician, comedian, dog lover, peanut butter enthusiast, beanies in the winter. Originally from Los Angeles, I've lived in New York for the past five years after receiving my masters in Underwater Archaeology from the University of Oxford, working as a Lead Teacher as part of the Teach For America program in Chicago, and earning my bachelors in Art History and Studio Art from Kenyon College.

For the past five years, I've focused on design, music, and comedy. As a designer, I've built websites, designed album covers, created style guides and logos, implemented rebranding initiatives, animated title sequences and music videos, produced and edited podcasts, and so much more. As a musician, I've recorded and released several EPs; composed scores, jingles, and intro songs for podcasts and webseries; and collaborated with various producers and musicians. As a comedian, I've performed all around the world, released a live comedy album, and written a solo show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which I'm currently adapting for an Off-Broadway run.

    SKILLS

    • Meet and Execute on Deadlines - I'm extremely organized, overcome challenges, and can balance shifting deadlines
    • Mac and PC Skills (MS Office Suite) - I'm familiar with MS Office, G Suite, basic coding, etc.

    Will Brady

Some call me a living cartoon character. I'm still trying to decide if that's a good thing or not. I repeat: I contain multitudes.

2016 Graduate of the Columbia College Chicago Comedy Studies program. But let the record show that if I had to choose, I'd rather be known as interesting and thoughtful than just funny and nothing else (but preferably, I'll take all three). My goal as an artist is not to get pigeonholed; I want the world to know that I contain multitudes.
I want to make TV shows and movies, act in TV shows and movies, and be good enough at both that people will actively want me to do both for them. I also want to voice acting because my inner child loves cartoons. And if I have time I want to learn how to make music and do stuff with that. OH and I have a few dozen amazing ideas for the next Great American Novel. I told ya I'm an ideas guy.

I have absolutely no idea whether this "about me" section was supposed to be about my creative career or my real-job career or both, but I've made my decision and I'm sticking to it. The difference between embarrassment and hilarity is confidence.
